HEALTHOLOGY Soluble Fibre

Why choose soluable fibre? it can be a more gentle fibre supplement to promote healthier digestion.

Healthology Soluble Fibre gives you high source of fiber in a Certified Organic non-GMO blend.

Ingredients in this product are Organic Acacia Gum Powder (Senegalia Senegal) 4g Organic Baobab Fruit Powder

I first learned about Acacia Gum as I was healing my gut from IBD, I understand it as being less likely to irritate gut fibre so I gave it a try.

However this Soluable fibre from Healthology also has an added ingredient I haven’t heard of before, Baobob, so I dug deeper into what i’s about

My Learnings

“Baobab seed powder is used in foods because of its nutrients, possible health benefits, and as a natural preservative.”

Baobab have been mentioned to be  polyphenol-rich

My Experience

Taste, when mixed with water only, it has a mild citrus flavour I didn’t expect, probably from the Baobab seed powder, which also offers a good source of vitamin C and potassium.

Effectiveness

As my two part review on fibre, I repeated similar process as with Daily Fibre, also a Healthology product, by taking recommended dosage for 3 days

I did experience mild bloat on the first day, slight change in the microbiome, and maybe too much added fibre all at once.

I took a day break to let my gut adjust.

Then the morning after my second dose, I had a good void and relief from dropping the bloat.

The bloat subsided on following days but I felt the full scoop dose was too much for me. As this was shortly after my Daily Fibre experience. But this probably means, it has been effective for promoting easier void.

*TMI Poop alert* the outcome is different from insoluble fibre, it creates “denser” bulked output that might need extra water intake to do it’s job best.

Other benefit for this product beside support digestion may include helping manage weight and lowering cholesterol
