Parblo A610s Graphic Drawing Tablet
April 02, 2020 Report
I’ve enjoyed all the Parblo tablets I’ve tried, but if I had one complaint about the bigger tablet I tried before, it was that it had too much of a ‘scratchy’ feel. This one feels much smoother and as a result, has become my go-to large sized tablet.
The only flaw I’ve noticed is that when you put pen to pad, the Parblo icon lights up, which could be distracting to the eye for some, though others may enjoy it. I would love to see Parblo add an ‘off’ button for that feature in the software.
The Parblo A610 has everything you could need in a tablet. Like other Parblo tablets it requires being plugged in (via USB), has programmable buttons and has drivers that must be installed (this time included in a disc), as well as coming with a pen tip remover and some replacement nibs for when it wears down.
The pressure reading works great, but keep in mind most programs need set-up to read the pressure from a tablet/pen combo and won’t do this automatically. The pen doesn’t snag and moves smoothly over the pad. The programmable buttons on both the pen and the pad can be as handy as you like, since you can choose what they do (undo/redo is a great choice for the pen buttons).
Overall, it’s a great choice for a larger sized tablet for both beginners and those with more experience!
