Pumpkin protein is high in magnesium and zinc.
I have to say out of all the vegan proteins I have tried in this past this is my favorite. I was a bit unsure when I opened it up and it smelled nothing like pumpkin but was still wanting to give it a try because of all the health benefits.
Pumpkin protein is high in magnesium and zinc. Both of these help to promote feelings of calmness and relaxation and can also help improve sleep quality.
This is sugar free which I love especially since my husband is diabetic and it contains 17 grams of protein. I personally find when I increase protein in my diet it keeps me fuller longer and helps to curb sugar cravings.
I have mixed it in both cold and hot drinks and can honestly tell you it mixes better in hot. I find in cold drinks if not mixed very well you get that grityiness that most protein powders have.
Since it is fall I thought what better way to test this product than using it in a pumpkin latte recipe. For anyone who would like to try this recipe I will post it down below.
