A Healthier Choice For Baking With Chips

This is my first time trying Ecodeas Cacao Butter Drops and I was pleasantly surprised. I wanted to make vegan brownies but the recipe called for 1 cup of oil which I wasn't thrilled about. I then remembered I had these Cacao Butter Drops and melted down enough for a 1/4 cup and added 3/4 cup of apple sauce to the recipe instead of the 1 cup of oil. It worked perfectly and the brownies were soft and delicious! I wasn't thinking at the end and placed some chips on the top while it was still hot which I quickly realised the difference between these and chocolate chips, they melt fast! So was I let them cool and topped them again and added some coconut! So good! I also realised how amazing Cacao Butter Drops are on your skin as some of the melted chips got on my hands and I just rubbed the oil in and they made my hands so soft!

I really love using Ecodeas products and these are no different. These are organically grown and certified fair trade. I love that these are grown in Ecudar and they make sure that their workers are paid fairly. These chips are made from the pure oil of the cacao bean which is where white chocolate comes from. These are Non-GMO and Kosher. Cacao is a rich source of polyphenols which are micronutrients found in plant foods and are packed full of antioxidants. They are also packed full of flavanoid antioxidants which help reduce free radical formation. Using Cacao Butter Drops can help boost your immune system, reduce inflammation and contain vitamins and minerals. If you are trying to make small changes to your diet to help boost your immune system or get healthier I would reccomend these. They can be used so many different ways in all kinds of recipes.
