Clumpy, Keto-Friendly Shake
February 20, 2020 Report
I myself am not keto. However, I do enjoy testing out products for various dietary preferences. I've tried the Good Fat bars and I'm a huge fan of them. I figured, why not try their shake.
Let's move on to the positive feedback. For something that tastes relatively good, it has only 2g of sugar per serving. They don't use sugar alcohols which may cause digestive upset or gas. If you are allergic to gluten or soy, be assured that you ARE able to have this one. The Good Fast Shake contains 9g of protein and 13g of fat.
To make the shake, I used water to mix with the powder. It still managed to be slightly creamy. If you want to enhance the creaminess, try using milk or milk alternatives. Coconut milk with the fat would be a preferred alternative.
What I didn't like about the shake, it was clumpy. No matter how hard I shook it, the clumps wouldn't break down. No one wants to taste chunks. The sad part, I was using a shaker cup. As per their website, you only get 10 servings. A little disappointing for it's price point.
