How Do You Coconut? Coconut, Can or Carton?

December 03, 2019 Report

Please select a reason

In a perfect world, you know, the one where I live in a tropical place surrounded by the freshest of my favourite ingredients, I would be using coconut milk straight from the nut. Considering the hours I just spent shovelling snow, that is clearly not the case!

I have tried various brands of coconut milk from the carton, and most are okay, but just okay and some have unsavoury fillers. My next best option is coconut milk from the can. I do like the Thai Kitchen brand as it blends well, especially for smoothies.

Canned is how I coconut. (It's a verb, right?!)
