We followed the instructions off the bag, rinsed, topped with flavour and pan fried.
These noodles have NO flavour but the bag stated they take on whatever flavour you cook them in.
No matter how much we added, the flavour pooled and never absorbed. Like at all.
Let's talk texture. It felt like we were chewing rubber. Didn't matter how much we cooked them, they were still very fake feeling and when swallowing they still felt intact. We tried to pan fry them til near dehydration to see if perhaps making them crispy would help with the slimy texture, but it didn't.
Then on a nutritional level- we really questioned...why? Perhaps someone who is on a low-carb diet may choose these for something that resembles pasta, but they are pretty nutritionally void. Sure there is some fiber but other than that, there is no significant nutritional reason to eat these. In fact, thinking these are a good food to have regularly may make you sick because of the lack of actual nutrients.
We feel there are far better, healthier options like Spaghetti squash or zucchini spiral zoodles to make you feel like you are eating pasta.
So, we are not fans.
