Tumeric to the rescue
June 27, 2019 Report
It's been almost a year since I have stopped taking Acetaminophen,Naproxen and Ibuprofen in order to heal my gut. Before that, I hate to admitted it but I used to take them like candy. I'm happy to say that with a change in my diet I have been able to keep migraines and aches and pains away. However for the past few weeks I've been experiencing some Heal Pain and was extremely happy when @VistaMagCanada sent me some @PureleNatural Organic Tumeric to try out as part of their #VIstaAmbassador program. Turmeric is indicated as an antioxidant and an anti-inflammatory for cardiovascular and joint health. Numerous clinical studies have confirmed turmeric’s ability to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, detoxify, cleanse and for cardiac health. Turmeric has been used by Herbalists for thousands of years as a general heath tonic and is one of the foundation herbs in Ayurveda. A 2006 study showed turmeric was more effective at preventing joint inflammation than reducing joint inflammation.
A 2010 trial found that turmeric provided long-term improvement in pain and function in 100 patients with knee Osteoarthritis.
A 2012 study found turmeric reduced joint pain and swelling in patients with active Rheumatoid arthritis better than some nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).
Because of its high safety profile,I feel that adding turmeric supplements to my daily routine is an easy, safe way to help protect against pain and injury.
After taking 3 capsules daily (500mg of turmeric each) my heel feels much better and my gut has never felt better... I'd say that's a win win.
So I suggest you try it out next time you are experiencing some inflation.
