Marinoe Seaweed Flakes is a tasty addition to spice up your meals. If you’re not a huge fan of seaweed, you may want to reconsider with a few sprinkles of these flakes. It’s not overpowering at all, in fact, a nice complement to enhance the flavour of your meals. Add a little for a tasty boost in your recipes, or be more generous to allow the seaweed flavour to take center stage!
I’ve been using it as an alternative to salt; sprinkling it into my salad dressings, soups, pasta and veggie dishes, as well as meat and meat-alternative meals. It’s simply delightful and gives a subtle, but flavorful boost to meals.
Seaweed contains iodine, a mineral that is essential for metabolism and thyroid function, as well as B12 which supports the brain and nervous system. Other great benefits – its high in potassium, low in calories and saturated fat!
